We first visited here back in 2011 and are happy to report that the cabins are just as we remembered them! We stayed for my partners 30th birthday and had a lovely time (even if the weather let us down...thanks storm brian!). That said, the horrible weather made the fact that we were in a cosy cabin more enjoyable. Warm, spacious, quiet and a pub on site. What more could you want? Highly recommended and we hope to visit again soon.

Yet again we have enjoyed a lovely holiday in these amazing log cabins. The beauty with them is you can do as much or as little as you please, if keeping busy is your thing then there's plenty of places to visit within a 20/30 minute drive (Barmouth, Porthmadog, Beddgelert to name just a few) or if you're there to simply enjoy the peace and quiet, sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning views and tranquillity of the surroundings. The lodges are always clean, well maintained and Sue is so helpful and easy to deal with she makes the whole process a pleasure!! See you next year, regards Lewis.

I was a bit worried that the lodges would feel crowded. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a lovely view of the hills from the back porch, especially early morning when the fog sat just below us in the valley. It did not feel crowded and there was no noise problems even on a Sat night. It was very easy to get to the mountain bike centre. Stayed in Haulfryn.

My husband and I have now stayed with Cadair 5 times in the last 5 years, this time we brought our 5 month old baby, we picked somewhere we knew would have the privacy, facilities and comfort to make our first holiday as a family enjoyable. We stayed in Ty Coed, and were pleased with the cabin's finish (has it recently been redone?). The cabins are a perfect base for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding areas - we visited the mountain bike/running centre at Coed y Brenin (a must for keen MTBers and runners), Beddgelert for cream tea, Llanberis for lake swimming and walking, Caernarfon for food and Harlech beach. We also got a great Indian takeaway from the Lemon Grass in Dolgellau. We definitely recommend the cabins, and have visited as a couple, with groups of friends and now as a young family. Do be sure to take supplies as there are not many shops close by (you don't want to be doing emergency nappy runs etc around here)

Stayed for 6 days in a beautiful log cabin, didn't need to bring anything apart from duvet covers & pillowcases , the kitchen was so well stocked with utensils etc ... living room was beautiful with little wooden animals dotted around , tv dvd playstation , games cards books , beach equipment , cricket set , one as amazed at how much was there for us to enjoy on a rainy day (We had 4) the views were breathtaking ... I took my puppy and took full advantage of the enclosed dog walking park where dogs can be let off the lead ... forgot to mention the doggy biscuits left for him in the lodge as well as a welcome pack of bread, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar .. nit all the cabins have gates on the balconies so I brought a wooden folding safety gate so the puppy couldn't get out ... I'll definitely stay again ... had a wonderful time ...

I stayed in a very beautiful and comfortable cabin and pleasant setting it had good views of the Rhinog mountains and a very attractive view it has been my 5/6 time being here. The place has not changed abit really only the dog area and the Rhiw Goch pub that is incredible and and well opened up. I don't like going back to routine this is the ideal place to take a dog and family and friends to stay a very peaceful and beautiful area if anyone likes the peace and quiet this is the place for you I love it here and I'll keep coming here every year.

I have put all my photos of the lodge on Facebook and friends of mine are already asking me where we stayed and how lovely it looks so you may get more bookings.  My husband loved the lodge for his birthday gift and said he would willing stay and come back again!  So thank you Sue for our stay and the beautiful view!"
