Llys Ednowain is group accommodation in the centre of Trawsfynydd village in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.  The village is just off the A470 making it an ideal accommodation base for activities across North Wales.

There are 3 ensuite rooms, each of which can be booked individually and a communal kitchen.  There is also a drying room, washing machine/tumble drier (coin operated), a meeting room with projector (at extra charge), lockable bike storage and a car park for 7 vehicles (additional parking available).

The rooms:

•  Prysor - 4 sets of bunk beds, en suite shower room - sleeps up to 8 people
•  Eden - 3 sets of bunk beds, en suite shower room - sleeps up to 6 people
•  Islyn a Cain - 2 rooms each with 3 single beds, en suite shower room - sleeps 6 people

We charge per person per night (with a minimum charge per room for very small parties).  Price includes bed linen (guests must bring their own towels).

The hostel has a Visit Wales 4* rating and is Walker / Cyclist Welcome graded too.

This accommodation is regularly used by Duke of Edinburgh groups.  It is an ideal base as it has 2 ensuite bunk rooms plus a separate 2 bed roomed (sleeps 6 in total), ensuite unit for leaders.

Local Facilities + Attractions

Glyndwr Stores is a small but well stocked shop in the Village.  

The Bryn Arms at Gellilydan is the nearest pub and it also serves food.  It is 3 miles away.

Trawsfynydd Lake, 5 miles long, is just a few minutes walk away.  The lake is renowned for its fishing with International competition being held there. There is a marked path right around the lake.  The cafe at Trawsfynydd Lake is 2 miles away and serves food during the day.

Coed y Brenin Trail Centre is 6 miles away.  

Antur Stiniog Downhill Trails, ZipWorld Slate Caverns and Bounce Below are 10 miles away.

Canolfan Tryweryn White Water Rafting Centre is 14 miles away.
