A warm welcome to all of my 4 legged friends.  I’m Dylan and I’m the new canine rep for Cadair View Lodge accommodation.

I’m sure that like me all of you doggies out there hate being left behind when your family are out having fun… well this is one trip that you’ll be as welcome as everybody else.

At Cadair View Lodge we have lots of self catering log cabins where up to 2 doggies can stay with their families.  And it’s not just doggies that we have to stay.  I can remember us having puss cats, bunnies and even a guinea pig.

These are the pet friendly log cabins (click the cabin name for more details)::

Caban Eryri - this cabin is great for dogs who get tired after long walks.  It’s right next to the car parking space.  It has a nice sunny deck for snoozing on.  There is space in the kitchen for a dog crate and there’s a gate on the deck too.

Cadair View Lodge  - this cabin has a big, wrap-around deck.  Great for dogs to lie in the sun all day… just keep moving a bit.  There’s also enough space to tie yourself up in your lead (and they thought that they could sit in the sun with a glass of beer - BOL).  There is space in the kitchen for a dog crate too.  And there’s a gate on the deck.

Haulfryn - another cabin with a big deck - but no gate!  This cabin has a veranda where us doggies can dry out paws inside before coming in to lie on the under floor heated living room and kitchen floors.  There is space for a dog crate on the veranda. There is no gate on the deck so not good for dogs who like to wander.

Y Ffrwd - this is a 3 bed roomed cabin.  It’s next to a stream and as the water sometimes runs quite fast probably not the place for a dog who can’t resist water to be off their lead.  There is a big deck with a gate.  Again this cabin has a veranda with space for a dog crate.Dog at Cadair View Lodge log cabin accommodation

Aunty Sue charges £5 per dog per night for guest doggies.

All dogs (even me) must be kept on a lead at all times around the Village.  There is a 3.5 acre enclosed dog walking area on site where dogs can be let off their leads.  It has a formal path for doggy’s human friends to walk on and keep their feet dry whilst us dogs have fun.

Dogs coming to stay get their own welcome letter with details of what to pack, some doggy biscuit treats and some poo bags (and a ball if I can find one!).  There are bowls in the cabins too.

Please be good dogs and stay off the furniture and out of the beds… and you mustn’t be left “home alone”.  It’s your holiday too so insist on being taken out every time.

If you need ideas of things to do with your family during your stay or places where you will be welcomed send us and email or call Aunty Sue.

That’s it for now.

Big paw wave and a lick
